LKO with Bane NOR and L-KOPIA Prepare for Season Start

[02/01/17]

Per earlier Newsletter, we delivered the LKO Z+F Clearance Laser System to Jernbaneverket in Norway in October of 2016. Jernbaneverket (JBV) changed name on Jan 1st, 2017 to Bane NOR (Rail Norway). JBV/Bane NOR collected field data with the new SMV3 Geometry Car in December of 2016 and the data was used for our system training program in Oslo between January 23rd to 27th, 2017.

Both LKO and L-KOPIA received very good news from our accountants when they presented the preliminary result for 2016. It turned out that both companies had a record revenue since start in 1973 (LKO) and 1993 (L-KOPIA). Sometimes old fashion long term concept works; dedicated staff, continuous technical improvements, low overhead and most important; making customers happy by keeping focus on our core business, clearance surveys for railroads!

LKO and L-KOPIA are still working on post processing and annual maintenance of our laser trucks and laser systems. Per Arne Pettersson of LKO will travel to USA in February. Per will help L-KOPIA with upgrades on our three laser trucks and one Kawasaki Mule laser ATV.

Furthermore, L-KOPIA crew will travel to Kansas City, KS for the annual meeting with our largest customer. We hope our customer can plan for a March 6, 2017 start.

LKO is working on a similar scheduling for TRV in Sweden, but probably starting a little later in March.
