L-KOPIA, acting as Subcontractor, continues to help a larger Consulting Company from New Jersey to survey 4,600 miles of tracks from Missouri to Washington State and several states in-between. The field crew and the L-KOPIA Laser Truck are now in the Seattle area, while L-KOPIA in Crown Point, IN, is helping with the extensive data processing (including the Vegetation survey). Data is transferred from the field by a web based database (save a lot of time and make post processing much faster).

The L-KOPIA Excursion Laser Truck in western Washington State, meeting a passenger train. This picture is part of the clearance data and is taken close to South Seattle, WA (our system takes 1-10 jpeg per second, with superimposed heading information, like track number, direction of travel, miles and GPS coordinates.
LKO received more data processing from Bane Nor in Norway in September. LKO is still busy with Clearance Surveys all over Sweden, plus a special project collecting environmental earth samples along several TRV lines. LKO is also helping L-KOPIA with data processing.

Laser Survey on track in Lillehammer, Norway. LKO has our Z+F Clearance Laser System on a Bane Nor Geometry Car (SMV3) since 2016. The system collects composite RAW data every meter, including 10 jpeg frames per second with superimposed heading (see above)! The pictures are used for post processing and in Bane Nor’s LKO ClearLoad © Software.
