L-KOPIA, operating as a subcontractor, continues to perform a major clearance and track center survey in the United States. The 2026 measuring season started early in New Mexico and our F350 laser truck has been on rail and road for more than 90 days. Field crews transfer data via a web-based database to allow the data processing to start immediately back in the office.

The L-KOPIA Clearance Truck approaches an Overhead Bridge in Texas on May 14th, 2026.
On the other side of the Atlantic, LKO personnel have been in Oslo, Norway for the annual upgrade of Bane Nor’s SMV3 Geometry and Clearance Car. Bane Nor has been performing several hundred kilometers of clearance surveys after the upgrade and LKO is busy post processing the data. A substantial portion of the survey occurred in Oslo, resulting in many structures to process.
LKO is also busy in Sweden. We are involved in the collection of earth samples around the track bed for environmental assessments for Swedish Rail. LKO uses one of our Hy-Rail vehicles for the collection.

LKO/L-Kopia software for post processing. LKO works mostly in metric and L-KOPIA in imperial. The processed RAW-files can then be used in our LKO/L-KOPIA ClearLoad © Software (or be tailored and integrated with our customers’ mainframes).
